【中關村在線軟件資訊】谷歌在近日的推出的Google Drive受到了用戶的廣泛關注，其下載量在一天之內就突破了500萬。但是，此次Google drive的某些使用協議并不像人們想象的那樣“只是些廢話”，而是對用戶上傳內容的使用權做出了一些“詭異”的規定，我們先來看一下原文：
原文：
“When you upload or otherwise submit content to our Services, you give Google (and those we work with) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from translations, adaptations or other changes we make so that your content works better with our Services)， communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute such content。
The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Services, and to develop new ones. This license continues even if you stop using our Services (for example, for a business listing you have added to Google Maps). Some Services may offer you ways to access and remove content that has been provided to that Service. Also, in some of our Services, there are terms or settings that narrow the scope of our use of the content submitted in those Services. Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to our Services. ”
譯文：
“一但你上傳了，你給了Google(及相關人員)全球范圍的許可，可以使用，集合，存儲，復制，修改，衍生(比如翻譯、改編及其它我們認為需要的使你的內容更合乎我們服務的修改)，交流，公開，公開傳播，公開展示與分發的些內容的權利。
你授予的這些權利允許我們將其用于且僅用于操作、優化和提升我們的服 務，以及開發新的服務。這項權利在你停止使用我們的服務后仍然持續。有的服務允許你訪問和刪除你上傳的內容。有的服務允許你限制我們對你上傳內容的使用。 你確實你給予了我們適當的許可。”
如果用戶同意了以上這段話，那么Google就可以通過壓縮、復制來存儲你的文件。就就是說，Google Drive擁有的不僅僅是作為文件本身，同樣它還獲得了對其中內容的使用與展示的授權。
假如，一位用戶是某卡通形象的設計者，他將自己的作品保存在Google Drive里了。按照上述條款，Google是有權利在在它自己的主頁上采用甚至修改這個卡通形象。即便你從你的云空間里刪掉了這些形象，但根據上述條 款，Google仍然可以繼續展示使用下去。

所以，Google推出的這個荒謬條款已經突破了人們對于網絡存儲的概念。如果你想使用Google Drive的話，最好在存儲文件時，思考一下這件東西是否要保密。
